A Traineeship is an education and training programme which incorporates work experience, preparing young people for their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready’.

The perfect stepping stone to securing an apprenticeship, further education or new job.

Not everyone is ready for work or an apprenticeship when they leave school or college, or after a period of absence. Traineeships are the perfect stepping stone into employment. A traineeship is a flexible and cost-effective route to prepare individuals for the workplace by providing valuable work experience and employability skills. A traineeship is a great way for young people aged 16-18 to get onto the career ladder in a structured and flexible way, to gain valuable life skills in order to become more work-place ready and offering an entry route into the world of work.
